Perrin Nuts are divided into two categories. The smaller models ("XS," "S" and "M") are tested by the ENSA in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc (France) to hold up to 850 kg. The larger models ("L," "XL," and "XXL") hold up to 1400 kg.

Perrin nuts were tested by the ENSA (National Ski and Mountaineering School) Mountain Sports Materials Testing Laboratory in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, France.

To sum up, tested in the least favorable position, the three smallest models ("XS," "S," and "M") stably support at least 850 kg (850 daN), while for the three largest ("L," "XL," and "XXL") the strength rises to at least 1400 kg (1400 daN).
